Blocking regions & blocked requests

Blocking regions

You can stop visitors from certain countries or regions from sending you booking or contact requests.

1. Go to Settings and open the Site tab.
2. Under Geoblocked regions (partial block), tick the countries you want to block.
3. Save.

This is a partial block. Visitors from those places can still see your site, but they can’t send booking or contact requests. Their visits are also left out of your analytics. The region is worked out from the visitor’s real connection, so it can’t be faked to get round the block.

Blocked requests

Requests caught by region blocking or spam filters go to Blocked requests. You can open it from the dashboard or from the analytics page.

Each blocked request shows why it was blocked:

Reason	Meaning
GeoIP	Sent from a region you’ve blocked.
Honeypot probe	Caught by a hidden spam trap.
No cookie (bot)	Probably sent by an automated script.

The sender sees the usual confirmation message, so they don’t know they were blocked. Nothing reaches your inbox or WhatsApp. You can read the details and delete records you don’t need.
